Hours: Mon-Thu 7:30am-4:30pm | Fri 7:30am-2:00pm (40 hours/week)
Contract Type: Permanent

First Achieve's client, a reputable and forward-thinking engineering business based in Oxford, is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their experienced team. This role is crucial to ensuring products are built to the highest standards of quality and precision, with a strong emphasis on TIG welding and sheet metal fabrication.
\nKey Responsibilities:\n

Fabricate components from sheet metal and laser-cut parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
\n
- \n
Perform TIG welding (and other techniques) on pipework and structural components.
\n
- \n
Use a range of hand and power tools effectively to complete fabrication tasks.
\n
- \n
Ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
\n
- \n
Work collaboratively with the team to improve processes and maintain high productivity.
\n
- \n
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the welding and fabrication process.
\n

\nWhat We're Looking For:\n
- \n

Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding (essential).
\n
- \n
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.
\n
- \n
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques.
\n
- \n
Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.
\n
- \n
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
\n
- \n
Detail-oriented, proactive, and quality-driven approach to your work.
