Fabricator/Welder | Precision Engineering | Oxford\n\nLocation: Oxford\n Hours: Mon-Thu 7:30am-4:30pm | Fri 7:30am-2:00pm (40 hours/week)\n Contract Type: Permanent\n Salary: Competitive, DOE\n Benefits:\n\n23 days holiday + bank holidays (with the potential to earn 2 additional days based on length of service)\n\nMonthly attendance bonus\n\nFirst Achieve's client, a reputable and forward-thinking engineering business based in Oxford, is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their experienced team. This role is crucial to ensuring products are built to the highest standards of quality and precision, with a strong emphasis on TIG welding and sheet metal fabrication.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nFabricate components from sheet metal and laser-cut parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.\n\nPerform TIG welding (and other techniques) on pipework and structural components.\n\nUse a range of hand and power tools effectively to complete fabrication tasks.\n\nEnsure a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.\n\nWork collaboratively with the team to improve processes and maintain high productivity.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues during the welding and fabrication process.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nProven experience in MIG and TIG welding (essential).\n\nStrong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.\n\nFamiliarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques.\n\nBasic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.\n\nSkilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.\n\nDetail-oriented, proactive, and quality-driven approach to your work
