Position Title: Welder

Location Duncan, Oklahoma

Description: New Tech Global is currently seeking Welders for a client in Duncan, OK.

Overview

• Determine the most appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Set up equipment and apply appropriate welding techniques to produce quality welds.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Inspect and test welds to determine whether the weld is of suitable quality for its intended application.
• Ensure all work performed is in a quality minded, tidy and accurate manner.
• Adhere to all Company policies.
• Follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures, and programs, including but not limited to quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Attend work per work schedule.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 1-3 years of related welding experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills (required).
• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding
• Manufacturing or experience ().
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass pulmonary Function and Respiratory Function Tests.
• Must be able to pass a weld test.
• Must be able to use and read welding measuring devices to include but not limited to squares, levels, and tape measures.
