Job Description Job Description Our client, a leader in structural steel manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process, supporting the production of modular base frames and enclosure products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Welder Location: Clayton, NC Pay Range: Shift: 1st Shift What's the Job? Perform structural steel welding using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques on various materials including steel and aluminum Utilize oxygen acetylene torches and plasma arc equipment for cutting steel of different thicknesses Work collaboratively with a team to complete structural parts and assemblies according to blueprints and specifications Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality systems such as ISO9001:2015 Verify work conformance to specifications and exhibit high-quality workmanship What's Needed? Minimum of 3 years of experience with MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on steel and aluminum Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and assembly instructions Experience with oxy acetylene cutting equipment and metalworking tools such as press brakes, drill presses, and shears Ability to follow safety guidelines and pass the client’s welding test Valid Driver’s License and ability to lift 50 pounds consistently What's in it for me?
