Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a manufacturing facility in Burnet, TX to hire experienced 1G and 3G Welders for a 3rd shift production role. Immediate interview availability for qualified candidates.

This is a full-time, on-site manufacturing position — no travel required. Ideal for welders seeking stable hours and long-term placement in an industrial setting.

Schedule:  3rd Shift | Sunday – Thursday | 4:30 PM – 4:30 AM

Pay: $20.00- $27.00 per hour DOE (base pay plus overnight shift differential)

What You’ll Do

·       Fit and weld steel components using GMAW (MIG) and FCAW processes

·       Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols

·       Set up and lay out work using jigs, fixtures, and hand layout methods

·       Inspect welds and make corrections to meet quality standards

·       Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, plasma torches, forklifts, and hoists

·       Verify part specifications and report discrepancies

·       Complete production logs and quality documentation

·       Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

·       Collaborate with team members on large or complex assemblies

Qualifications

·       Minimum 1 year of welding and fabrication experience

·       Experience with GMAW (MIG) and FCAW welding processes required

·       Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols

·       Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

·       Ability to pass a weld test prior to or upon hire

·       AWS D1.1 (3G and/or 4G) certification or ability to qualify

Education

·       High School Diploma or GED required

·       Technical or vocational welding training

Work Environment

·       Industrial manufacturing facility

·       Non-climate-controlled

·       Exposure to shop conditions and temperature changes

·       Physically active role

·       No travel required
