Pay: $24.00/hr (Entry Level) ? $26.00/hr (Mid-Level)
Schedule: Full-Time | (Confirm shift with client ? likely 1st shift + OT)
This is a temp-to-hire position
Position Overview
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking Welder / Assemblers for a leading vehicle manufacturing company in Phoenix. This role combines welding, fabrication, and assembly work to build and modify vehicle structures, including wheelchair-accessible vans.
This is a hands-on production role ideal for candidates with welding experience who are also comfortable performing assembly and general shop work.
Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding and fabrication on vehicle frames and structural components

Assist with vehicle assembly, including interior and exterior components

Use tools such as:
-
Plasma cutters
-
Welding machines
-
Hand and power tools (Sawzall, drills, etc.)
-

Position and align parts using jigs and fixtures
-
Weld and install:
-
Floor systems
-
Interior panels
-
Door jambs and structural supports
-
-
Remove and modify OEM vehicle components
-
Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
-
Maintain quality standards and production pace
-
Cross-train in different departments as needed
Work Environment

Physical requirements:

Standing, bending, kneeling

Qualifications

Welding experience required (MIG )

Plasma cutting experience required

Ability to pass a welding test

Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or automotive is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
