Job DescriptionJob Description

This position assists Weld Shop by preforming supporting duties in the machine shop by cutting angle iron, pipe, and other fabrication activities. Additionally, weld simple assemblies as time permits

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Support ISO 9001:2015 Quality System
• Cutting and threading pipe
• Drilling and tapping components
• Pouring refractory
• Grinding metal
• Weld simple assemblies
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Welding Certificate or current student
• Weld shop process knowledge
• Use, read, and interpret measurement tools, such as tape measures, calipers, feeler gauges, test, gauges, etc.
• Strong communication Skills
• Ability to read blueprints
