Job Description

This role involves welding and blueprint reading, utilizing both conventional and precision measuring instruments on a daily basis. You will be responsible for process inspection, certification, and documentation of parts, along with finish grinding applications using manual and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform various types of weld preparation, MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel.
• Execute weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to customer drawings and specifications.
• Engage in robotic welding operations as required.
• Conduct process inspections, certifications, and documentations of parts.
• Utilize conventional and precision measuring instruments regularly.
• Apply finish grinding using manual and power tools.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding, with at least 1 year of experience (.035 and .045 MIG).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with welding on stainless steel and carbon steel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in robotic welding.
• Familiarity with weld preparation and finishing operations.

Work Environment

Join the welding and fabrication team, working on the 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 1am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chilton, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.64 - $25.64/hr.
