Welder

Job Description

Our client in Rancocas, New Jersey is seeking a Welder to join their team! This is a DIRECT HIRE (not contract to hire) position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. This position offers $32-34 per hour based on experience.

This position will require frequent overtime hours to occur on Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diversified welding tasks in short-run production or custom job shop settings.
• Handle critical safety and load-bearing welds, as well as projects where appearance is essential.
• Interpret complex specifications, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Provide technical guidance to team members as needed.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant welding experience.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
• Experience with plasma and oxyacetylene cutting equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Possession of personal hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Requirements:

• Experience operating overhead and jib cranes
• Stick welding proficiency.
• Familiarity with lift machinery (forklift, scissor lift, boom lift).
