Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders of All Skill Levels for projects located in the Olean, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-35/hour based on experience and skill level plus $125/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Sub arc welding for steel components (bridges/buildings/industrial)

• Work from blueprints and shop drawings

• Maintain/clean equipment and report malfunctions

• Follow structural engineering principles and welding procedures

• Identify/refer hazards, comply with shop standards

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings

• Fitting, assembling, and welding structural steel components (buildings, bridges, industrial facilities)

• Ensuring proper alignment and making adjustments for structural integrity

• Utilizing ARC and MIG welding to join steel components

• Maintaining and cleaning fabrication tools, equipment, and machinery

• Reporting equipment issues or hazards

Responsibilities

• All PPE and welding hood
• 5+ years of welding/fitting experience
• Must pass a weld test
