Join our team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for welding and fabricating steel parts for table tops, chairs, and benches. You will engage in jig welding and work with smaller parts, utilizing saws and press machines to form various components and units.

Responsibilities

  • Weld and fabricate steel parts for furniture including table tops, chairs, and benches.
  • Perform jig welding and work with smaller parts.
  • Utilize saws and press machines for fabrication and forming parts.
  • Work with blueprints to guide fabrication processes.


Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in MIG welding and wire feed techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • 1-2 years of production welding experience.
  • 1-2 years of farm welding experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience using industrial tools and equipment.


Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • experience in blueprint reading, though not mandatory.

Work Environment

Work in a facility equipped with blue shields around workstations, tables, and benches. Majority of the tasks involve jig welding, which means a lot of stationary work. Employees work in cells, relying on one another and fostering a collaborative environment. Operating hours are 5:00am-3:30pm or 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenyon, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
