We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.
The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
- Inspect and perform maintenance on ground engaging equipment
- Fabricate various components for the plants throughout our East TN division
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform repairs as needed
- Welding and cutting experience
- Experience in steel erection/destruction i.e., welding, cutting, and fitting
- Previous experience working in a rock quarry
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
