We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in MIG welding structural components, either by hand or operating automated equipment. You will work from blueprints to build products and potentially assist in operating CNC mills, saws, or presses. Your role will also involve cutting, grinding, straightening, reshaping, and re-welding products. Additionally, you will use fixtures to align and assemble products and help in other areas as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on structural components.
- Operate welding equipment manually or through automation.
- Read and interpret blueprints to build products.
- Assist in operating CNC mills, saws, or presses as needed.
- Cut, grind, straighten, reshape, and re-weld products.
- Use fixtures to align and assemble products.
- Provide assistance in other areas as needed.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of welding experience (MIG or Robotic preferably).
- Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- CNC experience is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Work Environment
1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6 am - 4 pm, with mandatory overtime currently expected, leading to a 50-hour workweek from Monday to Friday. Enjoy a smaller, organized shop environment with a close-knit, family-oriented culture that embodies small-town vibes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winterset, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.50/hr.
