Job Title: MIG Welder / Fabricator

Location: LS11, Leeds

Salary: £15.00 – £16.50 per hour (DOE)

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Overtime: Available as and when required, paid at enhanced rates



Overview:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer based in LS11, Leeds. This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a close-knit engineering team working on high-quality steel fabrications and custom container conversions.



Key Responsibilities:



Carry out MIG welding on mild and structural steel fabrications

Read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings

Measure, cut, drill, and assemble components to specification

Ensure all welds meet internal and visual inspection standards

Operate hand tools, cutting and grinding equipment safely and efficiently

Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and productive working environment

Candidate Requirements:



Previous experience in MIG welding and general steel fabrication

Ability to work from engineering drawings and technical instructions

Reliable and professional approach to work

Strong attention to detail and quality awareness

FLT licence desirable but not essential
