Welder - 1st Shift - Direct-hire

We are partnering with a machine shop/manufacturing company that is seeking a Welder to join their team in the Chester, IN area. The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Direct-hire, full-time hours, 100% onsite

Compensation: Up to $27/hr (depending on experience/skill level) + full benefits package

Hours: first shift

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance

​Qualifications:

• MIG and or TIG welding experience on aluminum or steel required
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical workload
