Welder - 1st Shift

Job Description

What You'll Do:

\n
• \nMIG Welding: Perform MIG welding to join metal parts, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

\n

• \nProduction Task Execution: Follow process sheets, blueprints, or verbal instructions from the supervisor to complete production tasks accurately.

\n

• \nMaterial Handling: Maneuver large or heavy parts manually or with the assistance of a crane, as required.

\n

• \nWeld Inspection & Finishing: Inspect welds throughout the process for quality, using grinding tools as necessary to achieve desired finishes.

\n

• \nMachine & Workspace Maintenance: Keep machines and work areas clean and adhere to safety protocols.

\n

• \nQuality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets predetermined tolerances and standards.

\n

• \nCross-Functional Support: Assist in other areas or departments as assigned to meet production needs.

\n

What You'll Bring:

\n
• \nMIG Welding Experience: Prior experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical schooling is required.

\n

• \nAdditional Welding Skills: Experience with Flux Core welding is a plus.

\n

• \nTool Proficiency: Familiarity with grinding tools, drill presses, and ironwork is advantageous.

\n

• \nCommunication & Documentation: Basic oral communication skills; ability to read and understand written instructions in English and complete basic logs and reports in English.

\n

• \nPhysical Capability: Physically able to lift, push, pull, and position heavy components as required.

\n

• \nAttendance & Compliance: Ability to work scheduled hours and adhere to company timekeeping and all other policies.

\n

• \nShift Endurance: Ability to consistently stand for the entire duration of the shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.

\n

• \nMechanical Knowledge: General mechanical knowledge is beneficial.

\n

• \nTeam : Able to work cooperatively with others and contribute as a team player.

\n

• \nAttention to Detail: Demonstrates accuracy and reliability in all tasks.

\n

Your Schedule:

• \n1st Shift - Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

\n
