Now Hiring: Water/Wastewater Construction Superintendent
North American Construction Company – Florence, SC

North American Construction Company is seeking a qualified and motivated Water/Waste Water Construction Superintendent to join our growing team in Florence, SC. We are looking for a hands-on leader with experience in plumbing, grading, and general construction. Wastewater experience and building water treatment plants as well as wastewater treatment plants is a requirement!

This is a key role responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations while managing project timelines, resources, and personnel to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of construction projects from start to finish
• Supervise job site activities, subcontractors, and field crews
• Coordinate grading, piping, and general site work
• Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plans/specs
• Maintain daily logs, schedules, and documentation
• Communicate clearly with owners, engineers, vendors, and inspectors
• Ensure materials, equipment, and labor are efficiently utilized
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, and forecasting

Requirements:

• Waste Water Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant construction required
• Grading and general construction experience are a must
• Proven experience as a superintendent or project manager in the construction industry
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs
• Proficient in project documentation and communication
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
