Now Hiring: Senior Project Engineer (PE) – Water Resources/Public Works

Austin Metro Area | Full-Time | Hybrid Flexibility

A growing, locally owned civil engineering firm is looking for a Senior Project Engineer (PE) with expertise in water resources and public infrastructure. If you're a licensed PE ready to take the lead on meaningful projects and mentor junior engineers, we want to connect with you.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead design and analysis for stormwater, drainage, water/wastewater systems
• Oversee hydrologic/hydraulic modelling, floodplain management, and FEMA submittals
• Collaborate with clients, agencies, and internal teams across disciplines
• Manage multiple public works projects from start to finish
• Present at client meetings, stakeholder engagements, and public forums

What We’re Looking For:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience
• Texas PE (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Proficiency in tools like HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Civil3D, ArcGIS, InfoWorks ICM
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Experience with City of Austin, Travis County, or nearby municipalities (e.g., Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Dripping Springs, Kyle) is a big plus
