Safety is our absolute priority.Wastewater Process TechnicianAvailable Shifts: Afternoon 4pm-12am and Night 12am-8amPay Rate: $24/HRYour Seat at the TableOverviewThe Wastewater Process Technician maintains the efficiency of machinery and equipment in a continuous improvement-based environment, while also creating and maintaining a safe work environment. Position is responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of the wastewater process to meet both plant and environmental standards and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Wastewater Process Technician position is accountable for the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment that includes but not limited to all wastewater management equipment and components. Perform ongoing sample collection, preparation and analytical laboratory testingBecome a SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the systemAdjust the system processes and equipment based upon system analysis and trendsMaintain records, perform data entry, and provide detained standardized reportingMonitor and manage the system performance to assure regulatory compliance and operational efficiencyFollow technical operating procedures and develop operational improvementsManage time effectively to multitask and make calculated decisions across multiple processesPerform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance work: troubleshoot and diagnose problems Maintain a high degree of cleanliness for all treatment facilities and equipment Diagnose problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and make adjustments as needed Uses a variety of hand and power tools, meters and measuring devices in performing duties Detects faulty operations and defective material; reports those and any unusual situations to proper supervision Complies with all safety and environmental regulations while maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Attend daily shift overlap meetings and weekly maintenance planning meetings as requested Ability to adapt and be flexible with daily work assignment as required and needed Maintain a positive attitude while operating under a continuous improvement mindset.
