Pay Rate: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule: 12 months (Possibility to extension)

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Technicians to join a fast-paced industrial operation in Salt Lake City, UT. This position plays a critical role in supporting warehouse and materials management activities by ensuring accurate receipt, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
  • Load, unload, move, and stage materials using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory transactions within SAP.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment or internal distribution.
  • Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Utilize barcode scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movement.
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and handled according to company procedures.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, operations, and maintenance teams to support business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in warehouse operations, materials management, logistics, or inventory control.
  • Experience using SAP for inventory transactions, material movements, receipts, and shipments.
  • Forklift operating experience; certification is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current forklift certification.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, chemical, energy, logistics, or distribution environments.
  • Familiarity with SAP Warehouse Management (WM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), or Materials Management (MM) modules.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
  • Experience supporting high-volume inventory and materials operations.
