Our company is an emerging footwear and apparel brand running a screen print shop as well as an e-commerce fulfillment warehouse.
Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of a warehouse, ensuring that inventory is properly tracked, stored, shipped, and received in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for managing and supervising a team of warehouse workers, screen printers, and members of the fulfilment department. You will ensure the warehouse is running efficiently and orderly, and fully stocked with all the blank apparel supplies needed for all pending orders. You will be reporting directly to the CMO and CEO.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing all facets of screen-printing production, e-commerce order fulfilment, and warehouse management– including :
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all inventory is properly stored, shipped, and received.
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse workers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Ensure that all inventory is accurately tracked and recorded in the warehouse management system (Shopify).
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse operations, including safety procedures and quality control standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the efficient flow of materials and products.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
- Manage the shipping and receiving schedules to ensure the timely delivery of products.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Light warehouse equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, which may include driving our company van to pick-up/drop-off merchandise in both NJ and NYC.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Excellent communication (both oral and written) and problem-solving skills.
- 3+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Previous supervisory experience is .
- Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and ensure high levels of customer service.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed is a must.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Have a hands-on approach to managing people with a “can-do” attituded.
- Strong work ethic, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Screen printing experience .
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of workers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Experience with Shopify
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must have a valid US driver's license
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on computer.
- Must be able to lift minimum 50 pounds.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Monday – Friday 11:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday & Sunday – As needed - **This position is salary based and is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall not be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked more than 40 in any one work week.
Compensation
--Starting salary: $800 per week (Possibly more dependent on experience)
