Warehouse Operations Manager - Logistics & 3PL Growth Role

Nutrient Innovations, Inc. is a growing supplement ingredient distributor based in Southern California. We are expanding our infrastructure and seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee our new warehouse facility and help grow it into a lean, profitable, and scalable operation.

You’ll be responsible for day-to-day operations, leading a small team, optimizing processes, and expanding our 3PL customer base. We're especially interested in candidates with existing customer relationships or the ability to help us grow our logistics, fulfillment and transloading services for other wholesale importers, ingredient suppliers, and CPG brands.

Compensation $59k-$85k depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, storage, and fulfillment
• Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, SOPs, and food safety standards
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, optimize freight procurement and scheduling
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems, including cycle counts, lot tracking, and audits
• Manage labor and workload, including delegation, scheduling, and potential use of temp labor
• Use and improve WMS or ERP systems for inventory and order tracking
• Build and maintain relationships with 3PL clients, responding to needs and identifying service opportunities
• Train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to achieve performance targets and uphold safety
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and continuous improvement protocols
• Drive profitability through process optimization, resource allocation, and cost controls
• Maintain accurate operational records for audits, reporting, and decision support (KPIs, QC, etc.)

What You Bring

• 5+ years of leadership experience in warehousing, wholesale distribution, transloading or other 3PL operations
• Experience in general wholesale, supplement, food, ingredient, or CPG environments
• Proficiency in WMS, ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, SAP, NetSuite), and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations, GMP compliance, and food-grade handling
• Strong leadership skills: you’ve hired, coached, and led small warehouse teams
• A problem-solving, process-improvement mindset and entrepreneurial drive
• Client-facing experience or network of contacts in supply chain, logistics, or importing ()
• Forklift operation certification or hands-on understanding of equipment/safety
