The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient management of warehouse and distribution activities. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.\n\nClient Details\n\nOur client is a leading provider of logistics services.\n\nDescription\n\nBased at our clients operation in London, the Warehouse Operations Manager will lead and manage the day-to-day Warehouse, Inventory and Transport operations team and activities. Reporting in to the General Manager you will be responsible for leading an inclusive culture, built on trust and high performance whilst also meeting legal, KPI and budgetary targets.

Key responsibilities include:\n\nProviding a genuine and authentic leadership for the operations team.\nInfluencing, managing and maintaining internal and external relationships across a variety of stakeholders, including Union partnerships.\nDelivering continuous improvement to KPI performance, understanding the business and cost implications of decisions made.\nResponsible for the day-to-day people management of direct reports, as well as talent spotting, driving development and succession planning.\nDay-to-day risk management and compliance, operating within legislation, policy and process in all matters ranging from people management to HSE.\nIdentifying operations efficiencies and leading continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsuring that the customer is at the centre of every decision-making process.\nWorking closely with the planning team to identify key events and the operational capability of delivering these.\nWorking with other senior managers to identify opportunities for further operational optimisation, understanding the balance between service and cost.\nKeeping up to date with changes in legislation and implement adjustments accordingly. \n\nProfile\n\nThe successful Warehouse Operations Manager will live within a commuting distance of London and be able to demonstrate the following experience:\n\nPrevious senior operational leadership within a fast paced warehousing operation.\nA warehousing expertise with an ability to lead, engage and inspire others in an inclusive way in order to deliver successful results.\nSomeone who takes a positive approach in leading change, with a keen focus on continuous improvement initiatives.\nPrevious experience working within a unionised environment and an understanding of the importance of building positive and mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders.\nBe able to demonstrate where you have built strong collaborative working relationships across a variety of levels.\nConfident in making critical time-pressured decisions in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. \n\nJob Offer\n\nAn attractive reward package will be offered to the successful candidate and will include:\n\nCompetitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000, depending on experience.\nAdditional benefits package to include company car allowance, performance-related bonus, pension scheme, private healthcare, onsite parking and much more
