Warehouse Operations Manager

Bicester

£60,000 – £70,000 + Car Allowance

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive operational excellence across a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The Role

You’ll take full ownership of the warehouse operation – from inbound and outbound logistics to stock management, compliance, and team leadership. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in delivering service excellence, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large warehouse team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance.
• Oversee daily operations across goods-in, storage, and dispatch to ensure service levels and productivity targets are achieved.
• ⚙️ Drive continuous improvement through data-led decision making and process optimisation.
• Manage budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure commercial and operational objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and quality standards.
• Partner with transport, planning, and customer service teams to maintain seamless end-to-end distribution.

About You

• ✅ Proven track record in warehouse or distribution centre management within FMCG, food, or high-volume logistics environments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced operation.
• Confident managing budgets, performance metrics, and implementing operational change.
• A continuous improvement mindset – comfortable challenging the status quo and driving better ways of working.
• ️ Excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach to leadership.
