Position Overview:

TES is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient movement of aviation parts, engines, and APUs to support our customers worldwide. The ideal candidate will manage shipping, receiving, inventory control, and coordination with suppliers and transportation providers to optimize operations and maintain our commitment to superior service.


Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for aircraft parts, tooling, and materials in compliance with FAA, DOT, and international trade regulations.

· Prepare and process all required shipping documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, customs declarations, and export control forms.

· Partner with freight forwarders, couriers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective transportation.

· Monitor and track shipments, resolve delivery delays, and communicate status updates to internal and external stakeholders.

· Maintain accurate records within the ERP system for shipment details, tracking numbers, freight costs, and delivery confirmations.

· Support warehouse operations by coordinating dock scheduling, packaging requirements, and material movement.

· Ensure compliance with trade regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and country-of- documentation requirements.

· Review and reconcile freight invoices, identifying cost discrepancies or potential savings opportunities.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Sales, Service, Maintenance Control and Quality to ensure customer and supplier logistics requirements are met.

· Identify and implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations, reduce costs, and enhance shipment accuracy and turnaround time.

· Proactively assess current logistics procedures and make recommendations for automation, vendor consolidation, or workflow improvements.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and scalability as the company grows.


Qualifications:

· Associates degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping coordination, or materials management within the aviation or aerospace industry .

· Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping procedures and documentation.

· Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Quantum, SAP, Oracle) and logistics management software.

· Working knowledge of HTS/ECCN classification, Incoterms, and customs compliance.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
