The Warehouse & Inventory Quality Control Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of warehouse operations and inventory control within a high-paced, demanding logistics environment. This position is responsible for overseeing the inspection and monitoring processes during the production and kitting phases of the supply chain, maintaining strict adherence to quality standards, and ensuring compliance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate brings a detail-oriented mindset, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to work effectively in an austere and occasionally hazardous environment.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and inspect production and kitting activities at the assembly warehouse, ensuring alignment with quality and performance standards
  • Oversee the goods receipt process and validate the accuracy and condition of incoming materials
  • Conduct accountability and quality checks on finished goods before packaging and shipment
  • Ensure all products are packaged, labeled, and documented in accordance with established SOPs and contractual requirements
  • Verify that subcontractors and second-tier subcontractors meet performance and production standards as outlined in internal procedures
  • Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies in production, packaging, or inventory
  • Generate and submit accurate daily reports reflecting inventory status, quality control outcomes, and corrective actions taken
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, production teams, and supply chain leadership to improve quality control processes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management, quality assurance, and warehouse efficiency
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols, even in challenging or austere conditions

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with logistics or supply chain workflows in a production or assembly setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in austere and potentially hazardous environments.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt, and work diligently in a team-based setting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Distribution, or a related field.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, ERP tools, or warehouse management software.
  • Prior experience working with subcontractor or vendor quality control oversight.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard safety protocols and quality control practices.
  • Familiarity with government or defense-related logistics operations is a plus.

Physical & Travel Requirements:

  • This role requires extensive international travel, including active conflict zones. Travel may range from 50% to 100% of the time, depending on operational needs and assignment schedules.
  • Candidates must be physically capable of working in demanding environments, including those with limited infrastructure and elevated safety risks.
  • The position involves frequent standing, walking, and physical activity throughout the day.
  • Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Assignments may involve deployment to regions experiencing active conflict or instability, including designated war zones. All employees must comply with company safety protocols and training requirements related to high-risk travel.
