Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHEVO is advancing its product roadmap for wireless EV charging (WEVC) including its next of products for level 2, bidirectional, and high power WEVC. HEVO’s award-winning technology has attracted leading automotive customers and talent from the industry.   HEVO is seeking a Power Electronics engineering leader to accelerate its technology developments and lead the power engineering team. The leader will be expected to design to automotive standards, manage complex development and integration programs with HEVO’s OEM partners, and coach a team of engineers to reach company objectives.    This full-time in-office role reports to the CEO at HEVO’s headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. The candidate will have an outstanding reputation and hunger for driving product innovation and development, managing diverse teams, and performing with honesty, empathy, vision, and optimism. This individual must have the ability to establish immediate credibility at all levels, inside and outside the organization, including major automotive and industry partners.Responsibility

  • Product Development
  • Mature power electronics architecture from design to production validation
  • Collaborate with SVP of Hardware on electronics packaging design
  • Collaborate with embedded systems team on power and automotive controls
  • Oversee testing and electrical integration with vehicle on-board charging systems
  • Lead Power Electronics R&D Initiatives
  • Mature power electronics architecture for high power WEVC roadmap through engineering validation
  • Design testing and safety protocols
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage power electronics team
  • Build power electronics team to supplement corporate and R&D pipeline growth
  • Summarize and present Key Departmental Updates and Achievements to a wide audience (internal stakeholders and customers)
