Role: Vice President of Manufacturing

This is a pivotal senior leadership role reporting to the Chief Engineering Officer, responsible for defining and executing the manufacturing strategy to support global deployment. As the company transitions from pilot-scale to full commercial industrialization, this role will be instrumental in building scalable, high-quality manufacturing systems.
 

Key Responsibilities Product & Process Integration

• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs are optimized for high-volume, high-quality manufacturing.
• Drive Design for Excellence (DFX) initiatives, including DFM, DFA, and DFQ, to align product and process development.

Pilot Manufacturing

• Lead the development of internal pilot manufacturing capabilities:
  • Partner with external experts to design and commission prototype and development-level assembly lines.
  • Define factory layout and operational zones including:
• Build and manage a cross-functional operations team covering:

Scale-Up & Volume Manufacturing

• Oversee the selection and onboarding of contract manufacturing partners.
• Establish organizational structures and processes to manage outsourced production.
• Ensure seamless material flow and product lifecycle management across internal and external teams.

About You

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in developing and executing manufacturing strategies for complex hardware products.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with digital manufacturing systems and global supply chain management.
