Role Overview

The VP of Engineering will lead the engineering organization, driving the development and deployment of technologies that capture, store, and utilize carbon efficiently. This role requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise, strong operational skills, and a passion for sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

• Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with company goals and sustainability objectives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to shape product roadmaps and technology investments.

Team Management:

• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team across multiple disciplines (mechanical, chemical, software, etc.).
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Technology Development:

• Oversee design, prototyping, and commercialization of carbon capture, storage, and utilization technologies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.

Operational Excellence:

• Implement best practices for project management, quality assurance, and safety.
• Optimize engineering processes for efficiency and scalability.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with R&D, product, and business teams to align technical capabilities with market needs.
• Represent the company in technical forums, conferences, and with key partners.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related field). Ph.D. .
• Experience:10+ years in engineering leadership roles, ideally in clean tech, energy, or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record of scaling engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of carbon capture technologies and sustainability principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
