VP of Development

• $200,000 - $280,000 per annum

Location: US - Remote

Salary: $200K - $280K + bonus

Kinekta are currently partnered with a strong financially backed start-up that focuses on greenfield and brownfield utility-scale solar, BESS, wind and data centers development through full cycle development. 

They are searching for a VP of Project Development to join their team to lead their growth. This person will be responsible for driving their utility-scale and collocation projects forward throughout the US. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of utility-scale renewables across the US - focusing on key energy markets.
• Oversee project development from inception through to COD.
• Access technical and financial viability working with cross function teams.
• Oversee permitting, interconnection, PPA negotiations, stakeholder outreach and compliance.
• Execute new market entry strategies across the US, focusing on utility-scale renewables.
• Ability to build a strong project pipeline.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience developing renewable energy projects.
• Proven track recording developing utility-scale renewable projects across the US - wind, solar or BESS.
• Experience leading full-cycle project development through to COD.
• Strong negotiation, communication and leadership skills.
• Proven experience leading a team and building project pipelines.
