Job Title: Void Electrician - ASAP Start Required 



Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire



Pay Rate & Working Hours: £250-£260 per day - Monday to Friday 



We are currently recruiting for a qualified electrician required to complete electrical works on void property refurbishments. The role involves inspecting, repairing, upgrading, and testing electrical installations to ensure properties meet current safety standards and are ready for re-occupation.



Key Responsibilities:



Carry out electrical inspections and fault finding in void properties

Complete rewires or partial rewires where required

Replace or upgrade consumer units

Install/replace sockets, switches, lighting, smoke alarms, and extractor fans

Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) and Part P

Conduct testing and certification (EICR, EIC, or Minor Works)

Requirements:



NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

2391 Inspection & Testing qualification

Experience in domestic or void property refurbishments
