About the Role
We are hiring a VP of Engineering to lead the buildout of OTP's autonomous recruiting infrastructure. This is a foundational leadership role at a company redefining how technical hiring works.
You will own:
The full engineering organization, from platform and data infrastructure to AI/ML systems and client-facing products. You will architect the systems that power sourcing, scoring, matching, and candidate engagement at scale. You will build and lead the engineering team. You will work directly with the founding team to set technical direction.
What you're walking into:
A live production system. Autonomous sourcing pipelines running daily across multiple clients. Multi-agent orchestration handling candidate research, outreach , and pipeline management. A 63,500+ node relationship graph with vector embeddings. Custom MCP server infrastructure. Real clients, real revenue, real candidates being placed. This is not a greenfield "build from scratch" role. The foundation is built. You are here to scale it.
Responsibilities
- Someone who has built and led engineering organizations at high-growth startups, ideally from Series A through scale.
- Deep experience with AI/ML systems, data infrastructure, and platform engineering.
- You understand recruiting or marketplace dynamics well enough to build intelligent systems around them.
- You have operated as both an architect and a leader.
- You are comfortable with equity-heavy compensation at an early stage because you believe in what you're building.
