Job Description

Charging Systems Verification & Validation Engineer – EV / Electrification\nContract – 6 Months\nAutomotive – Office Based\n\nWe are recruiting for a Charging Systems Verification & Validation Engineer to support advanced EV charging systems within a leading automotive electrification programme.\n\nThis is a hands-on, vehicle-level role focused on EV charging validation, OBC, DC-DC converter and high voltage systems (400V / 800V).\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Execute validation & verification (V&V) for EV Charging Systems\n\n * Vehicle-level testing of On-Board Charger (OBC), DC-DC, BMS\n\n * Perform SW release testing and defect triage\n\n * Test using CANoe, CANalyzer, ETAS INCA, UDS, DOIP\n\n * Validate against ISO 15118, IEC 61851, DIN 70121\n\n * Conduct functional, performance & robustness testing\n\n * Work cross-functionally with systems, software & integration teams\n\n * Root cause analysis of charging failures and communication issues\n\nRequired Experience:\n\n * Automotive EV / Electrification validation experience\n\n * Strong knowledge of EV charging protocols (CCS, CHAdeMO, NACS, Type 2, GB/T)\n\n * Hands-on with CAN, LIN, Ethernet\n\n * Experience with high voltage systems\n\n * Knowledge of power electronics and charging architecture\n\n * Experience with EVSE, charging emulators or power analysers desirable\n\nThis role suits a mid–senior Validation Engineer with strong vehicle-level testing experience in automotive electrification.\n\nIf you have expertise in EV charging systems, ISO15118, CANoe and high voltage vehicle testing, apply now for immediate consideration
