Order Ref: 56039 Position Title: Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer Duration: 6 Month Rolling Contract Location: Dunton, Essex Division: Product Development Position Description: Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer VA engineers are responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. VA are the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond. Skills Required: Excellent project and people management skills, with tenacity in resolving issues Excellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with senior management Ability to resolve complex, multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity Skills Preferred: Knowledge of FEDE, PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros - E2KS and Digital Buck tools inc. Vismockup CATIA abilities Experience Required: Delivery of vehicle programs Experience Preferred: Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants / configurations preferred Education Required: Degree in Engineering discipline Education Preferred: Degree in Engineering discipline Additional Information : Hybrid - Dunton Based 3 days on site Travel: Possibly Europe
