  • Valve Technician — First Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

    Job Type: Full-time | On-site | First Shift

    About the Role

    Valve Technicians are responsible for the assembly, testing, inspection, occasional repair, and

    packaging/shipment of pneumatic control valves, on/off valves, actuators, digitized smart

    valves, and other mechanical devices.

    What You’ll Do

    Assemble valves, actuators, and sub-assemblies.

    Use hand and air tools (wrenches, ratchets, torque tools, etc.) to build units to product

    specifications.

    Inspect components, replace wear parts/seals, set clearances, and verify proper operation.

    Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and basic schematics.

    Document work performed (travelers, checklists, torque records) and maintain a clean

    bench.

    Perform functional testing, basic calibration, and leak checks as required.

    Follow all safety, 5S, and quality procedures; identify and escalate nonconformances.

    Work independently and as an effective member of a team; assist with continuous

    improvement.

    What You Bring

    Required

    High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

    Proven mechanical aptitude; comfortable with mechanical tools (air tools, wrenches,

    ratchets, etc.).

    Ability to interpret written instructions/specifications and follow standard procedures.

    Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively.

    Physical ability to lift up to ~50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and safely use shop

    equipment.

  • (Nice to Have)

    Previous valve/actuator, industrial maintenance, or assembly experience.

    Tow motor/forklift experience (certification a plus).

    Basic familiarity with pneumatics/hydraulics, torque tools, calipers/micrometers.

    Schedule & Pay

    Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (First Shift)

    Paid 1-Hour Lunch

    Starting Pay: $20–$25 per hour

    Overtime: 1.5× when needed
