Utilities Site Manager

Our client, a leading company in the power distribution and energy sector, is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their team. This is a permanent role focused on managing EHV cable projects across the Berkshire / West London region.



If you have SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor and understanding of Excavation, Utilities and Backfill and Reinstatement we will be keen to hear from you!



Key Responsibilities:



Overseeing all aspects of site management for EHV cable projects

Ensuring compliance with NRSWA and SMSTS regulations

Managing teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget

Coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members

Implementing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections

Monitoring and managing the use of resources and equipment

Providing detailed progress reports and maintaining project documentation

Resolving any on-site issues and mitigating project risks



Job Requirements:



Experience in site management within the power distribution or energy sector

Proven expertise in managing Utilities / streetworks and highways projects

Strong knowledge of NRSWA and SMSTS regulations

HSG 47

Qualification in a relevant field

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Effective communication and negotiation abilities

Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks efficiently

Paying up to £65,000 per annum
