The University Operations Analyst is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the university by ensuring efficient administrative processes, compliance with institutional policies, and effective coordination across departments. This role plays a key part in documenting and optimizing operational workflows, enhancing student and faculty experiences, and contributing to the university's strategic objectives. Reporting to the CAO and VP of Student Experience, the University Operations analyst will work closely with various academic and administrative units to maintain a smooth and effective institutional infrastructure.

Requirements:

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of university-wide process flows, operational policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate and support administrative functions, including schedule management, cross-department communication, and project coordination.
  • Provide operational support for academic and student services departments to enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee and maintain university records, reports, and documentation related to operations.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve digital and administrative workflows.
  • Facilitate communication between faculty, staff, and students regarding operational needs.
  • Assist with financial and budgetary tasks, including tracking expenditures and supporting budget planning.
  • Coordinate special projects, events, and initiatives to support institutional goals.
  • Provide reporting and data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Handles other projects and tasks as needed
  • Liaising between Academics and Operations, this role will work directly with Deans, Program Chairs, Institutional Effectiveness, Registrar, and Academic Operations closely.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Higher Education Administration, or a related field required; Master’s .
  • 2-5 years of experience in university operations, administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of university operations, policies, and administrative procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
  • Proficiency in administrative software, student information systems, and office productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to higher education.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a higher education setting is .
  • Familiarity with institutional accreditation processes and compliance standards is a plus.
