Traveling Marine Field Technician (Contract)

Pay: Strong day rate (DOE) + Daily Per Diem + Paid Travel
Job Type: Contract (Project-Based)
Travel: 50–100%

About the Role

Dryboat International is hiring Traveling Field Technicians to support on-site setups of our marine drying systems at marinas and boatyards across the U.S. This is hands-on, physical work with significant travel. Marine experience is a plus but not required.

This is an ongoing contract role with project-based work. Hours will vary based on job scheduling, and high performers will have the opportunity to transition into a more permanent role as we grow our internal field team.

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to marinas and boatyards nationwide

  • Load, unload, and set up Dryboat equipment

  • Drill access points and connect hoses/fittings

  • Monitor systems and document readings

  • Work safely on docks, boats, ladders, tight spaces, and uneven surfaces

  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional

Requirements

  • Willing to travel 1–2 weeks at a time (sometimes longer on larger projects)

  • Able to lift 50–100 lbs and work long physical days

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Experience with basic hand and power tools

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow procedures and safety guidelines

Nice to Have:

  • Marine experience (boatyard, marina, fiberglass, detailing, rigging)

  • Construction/trades/industrial experience

  • Field service or other travel-heavy work experience

Compensation

  • Strong day rate based on experience (paid per project day worked)

  • Daily per diem for meals while traveling

  • All travel expenses covered (flights, hotels, rental vehicles)

  • Job completion and performance bonuses available
