Job Title: Traveling Foreman/Superintendent, Construction (East Coast)

Location: Based in NJ - But Required to Travel the Country, Mostly East Coast

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Traveling Foreman/Superintendent to oversee and manage various construction projects. We are based in NJ, but we complete construction projects throughout the East Coast. You would be required to travel for this position. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader responsible for coordinating all onsite activities, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
- Plan and coordinate construction activities while ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce quality standards.

Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Mentor and support team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Safety Compliance:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on the job site, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for crew members.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.

Misc:
- Complete punch list and other misc. field work tasks.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) .
- Proven experience as a Project Foreman or Superintendent in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
