Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in PET and general nuclear medicine for a day shift position with rotation weeks of on-call duty.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital nuclear medicine department with a focus on general nuclear medicine (no cardiac cases)
- Must be competent in PET and nuclear medicine procedures
- Equipment includes Siemens PET CT and Siemens and Phillips nuclear medicine cameras
- Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Rotation weeks of on-call for emergency cases are required
- Travelers are expected to float to like units within their scope as needed
- Uses EPIC charting system; experience
- Scrub is royal blue or khaki
- Must participate in on-call rotation for emergency cases
- Travelers receive a brief unit
- Modules for are completed onsite and recorded via transcripts
- No local candidates accepted who reside within 75 miles
- Former perm staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler
- No travel pairs or groups accepted
- A maximum of 3 days of RTO will be auto approved

- NMTCB and PET certifications required
- No minimum experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
- Valid Allied license required if applicable
- Must be able to work with Siemens and Phillips imaging equipment
- RTO must be requested at time of consideration; no RTO approved for the first week of
