Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in PET and general nuclear medicine for a day shift position with rotation weeks of on-call duty.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital nuclear medicine department with a focus on general nuclear medicine (no cardiac cases)
  • Must be competent in PET and nuclear medicine procedures
  • Equipment includes Siemens PET CT and Siemens and Phillips nuclear medicine cameras
  • Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Rotation weeks of on-call for emergency cases are required
  • Travelers are expected to float to like units within their scope as needed
  • Uses EPIC charting system; experience
  • Scrub is royal blue or khaki
  • Must participate in on-call rotation for emergency cases
  • Travelers receive a brief unit
  • Modules for are completed onsite and recorded via transcripts
  • No local candidates accepted who reside within 75 miles
  • Former perm staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler
  • No travel pairs or groups accepted
  • A maximum of 3 days of RTO will be auto approved

  • NMTCB and PET certifications required
  • No minimum experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
  • Valid Allied license required if applicable
  • Must be able to work with Siemens and Phillips imaging equipment
  • RTO must be requested at time of consideration; no RTO approved for the first week of
