Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and CNMT certification for a Level 1 trauma acute care setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position in an acute care hospital on a nuclear medicine unit
  • Level 1 trauma center environment
  • Work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Day shift assignment with 12-hour shifts
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Equipment includes Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs; training will be provided if needed
  • Uses Epic for electronic charting
  • Responsibilities include performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and operating advanced imaging equipment
  • DOT certification at the start of the contract and required upon extension within 90 days
  • Radiation badge provided
  • Artificial nails are prohibited for all staff providing patient care
  • Candidates may not have worked directly for any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility as a full-time, part-time, or PRN employee within the past year
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Current BLS and Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification via NMTCB required
  • Active, unencumbered state license required—license required if applicable
  • Experience in an acute care or trauma setting strongly
  • Driver's license required for consideration to verify residence outside of 50-mile facility radius
  • Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor reference from the last 3 years
