Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced with Siemens, Philips, and GE equipment for a day shift contract assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital nuclear medicine department
  • Primary responsibilities include performing a variety of technical nuclear medicine procedures for diagnosis and treatment
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Call required every 4-5 weeks, mainly for cardiac stress tests on weekend mornings; call is optional and can be removed if
  • Procedures use radiation detection, shielding devices, and a range of computer equipment
  • Position supervises technologists and ancillary personnel assigned to the department
  • Independent judgment, initiative, and strong understanding of technology required
  • Candidate must complete facility modules during onboarding and annually
  • Travelers must complete required lab work within 72 hours of contract signing
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
  • Holiday time-off requests for one major holiday will be considered with manager approval
  • This is a traveler-friendly facility

\n \n Requirements\n

  • Experience with Siemens, Philips (cardiac), and GE (cardiac) nuclear medicine equipment
  • Graduate of an approved JRCERT program for Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine
  • Registration by ARRT or certification by NMTCB
  • Licensed as required by state regulations (license required if applicable)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous clinical nuclear medicine experience is desired
