Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

\n

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
\n• Weekend call required from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (no weekday call)
\n• Perform 5-10 scans/studies per day
\n• Common imaging studies include: heart scans, HIDAs, GI bleeds, VQ scans, bone scans, renal scans, gastric emptying, sentinel node injections, lymph system studies, lexiscans, pulmonary scans, and thyroid scans
\n• Work with Siemens "Symbia" equipment
\n• Hospital experience required
\n• No first-time travelers accepted
\n• Manager interview required
\n• Nuclear Medicine License required to submit
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-N (or CT-NMTCB)
\n• Scrub : Teal (not provided by facility)
\n• Use Cerner charting system
\n• Acute care setting
\n• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments

The facility utilizes advanced Siemens "Symbia" equipment and maintains high standards for patient care in an acute care setting. The nuclear medicine unit specializes in various imaging procedures including cardiac, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, and bone studies to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
