Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring certification in Nuclear Medicine and experience with Epic.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
• Perform independent nuclear medicine procedures involving administration of radiopharmaceuticals
• Tuesday through Friday schedule, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• May have on-call responsibilities
• May be required to perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
• Uses Epic EMR, Epic experience required
• Responsible for maintaining equipment and coordinating patient and department workflow
• Expected to follow proper radiation protection practices and exercise professional judgment
• Completion of modules required, averaging 18-24 hours
• Up to 14 days of requested time off (RTO) is permitted but must be submitted with application
• No prior license action accepted
• No references required for consideration

\n \n Requirements\n

• Associate degree in Allied Health with major in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Current CPR certification required
• Current Nuclear Medicine registry required
• ODH licensure required (pending acceptable)
• ARRT RT(R) and/or NMTCB required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No minimum prior job-related work experience required, but one year of specialized Nuclear Medicine experience is
• Local Radiology candidates within a 30-mile radius are accepted at the same rate
• License required if applicable
