Nuclear Medicine Technologist\n\nSummary:\nPerforms a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures requiring independent judgment, technical expertise, and adherence to radiation safety standards. Ensures safe, accurate, and high-quality imaging for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPrepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol and safety guidelines.\n\nPerform and monitor Nuclear Medicine procedures using gamma cameras, PET, and SPECT systems.\n\nMaintain and perform quality control on all imaging and laboratory equipment.\n\nEstablish and manage IV access using aseptic technique.\n\nAdhere to Radiation Safety and NRC regulations, applying ALARA principles at all times.\n\nQualifications:\n\nProficient in Radiopharmacy, instrumentation, and radiation safety practices.\n\nKnowledge of dose calibrators, radiation detectors, and quality assurance procedures.
