Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Johnson City, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Discipline: Allied Health Professional
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Procedures/Skills:

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate gamma cameras and thyroid uptake probes
• SPECT and SPECT/CT imaging, image data processing and SPECT reconstruction
• Radiation safety practices, handling/disposal of radioactive waste
• IV starts, injections, and removals for nuclear medicine studies
• Prepare, dispense, document, and store radiopharmaceuticals per NY DOH
• Quality control procedures (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) per ACR

• PACS and EPIC documentation, patient education, interdisciplinary communication

   

• Certifications Required: NMTCB or ARRT(N), NYS Radiologic Technologist license, BLS (AHA, HSI, or Red Cross)
