Title: Nuclear Medicine Tech
Location: Huntington, WV 25701
Duration: 19 weeks (Start Date: 10/06/2025 – Must extend through 01/10/2026)
Shift: Day, 5x8 (08:00 – 16:30), Monday–Friday; Call every 4–5 weeks (mainly cardiac stress tests, optional if traveler prefers)

Job responsibilities and all required and skills and requirements
Performs a wide range of technical procedures in nuclear medicine using radionuclides for diagnosis and treatment. Supervises technologists and ancillary staff as assigned. Requires independent judgment, initiative, and comprehensive knowledge of nuclear medicine technology.

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
  • Operate Siemens, Philips, and GE cardiac imaging systems
  • Utilize radiation detection, measuring, recording devices, and shielding materials
  • Work with computerized imaging and data systems
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams for patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved JRCERT program in Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Registration with ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or certification with NMTCB
  • State of West Virginia licensure (Radiology Board)
  • Previous clinical nuclear medicine experience
  • Siemens experience required; Philips and GE cardiac experience
