Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:
\n
• Perform general duties in Nuclear Medicine including technical and operational procedures
\n• Conduct equipment troubleshooting and patient care activities
\n• Perform imaging study procedures including injections and administering radiopharmaceuticals
\n• Assist with training of other staff members
\n• Handle inventory control and patient scheduling responsibilities
\n• Ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements concerning Nuclear Medicine
\n• Must be a graduate of approved AMA School of Radiology and NMTCB-approved School of Nuclear Medicine
\n• Valid State of Maine license required
\n• registration with ARRT required
\n• Must fulfill mandatory CEU requirements
\n• BLS certification required
\n• 1-year previous experience
\n• Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
\n• Ability to rotate to off-site imaging locations required
\n• Phlebotomy skills required
\n• Up to 16 hours of is unpaid
\n• Facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
\n• Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius
