Shift: Day Shift (4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
Salary: $40 to $55 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Fort Bragg. This position involves performing nuclear medicine procedures and collaborating with healthcare professionals to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Candidates must have experience in nuclear medicine as well as X-ray or mammography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as directed by physicians.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively to ensure high-quality imaging results.
- Assist in the interpretation of imaging results and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient histories, and dosage information.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations regarding the handling and disposal of radioactive materials.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or equivalent.
- Valid state license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
