Transport Planner - Immediate Start in Ely

Join an established manufacturing and distribution business as a Transport Administrator, where you'll play a key role in supporting their dynamic transport operations.

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established manufacturing and distribution business with the recruitment of a Transport Administrator.

\n

This is a full-time, 6-month fixed-term position based in Ely, with an immediate start available. The role is Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.

\n

Salary:

\n

£26,500 – £30,000, depending on experience (High likelihood for being made permanent, dependent on performance)

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Support the day-to-day planning and administration of transport operations

\n

• Assist with planning and adjusting daily delivery routes

\n

• Liaise with drivers regarding schedules, availability and route changes

\n

• Prepare load plans, manifests and transport documentation

\n

• Monitor deliveries and respond quickly to delays or operational issues

\n

• Ensure transport records and systems are kept accurate and up to date

\n

• Work closely with warehouse, transport and customer service teams

\n

• Help ensure routes comply with vehicle capacity and Drivers' Hours requirements

\n

• Provide general administrative support to the wider transport team

\n

Skills & Experience:

\n

\n
• Previous transport, logistics or traffic office experience would be advantageous

\n

• Strong organisation and administrative skills

\n

• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment

\n

• Good IT skills and confidence learning transport systems

\n

• Strong communication and problem-solving ability

\n

• Excellent attention to detail

\n

• Able to manage changing priorities and work to deadlines

\n

• Calm, proactive and reliable approach

\n
